Our wood shavings serve a dual purpose. After being used as bedding for the vast Taranaki chicken farming community, the soiled shavings are then collected from the chicken sheds are processed into organic fertiliser for Taranaki farms.

Nothing goes to waste
Wood shavings and hoggings fuel our boilers for kiln drying. Wood chip, sawdust and shavings are used for animal bedding and dairy shed feedlots. Timber offcuts are sold locally as firewood for domestic heating. Bark is processed locally for garden mulch.
East Taranaki Environment Collective (ETEC)
With much of our log supply coming from East Taranaki forests, we support ETEC in their efforts to make Taranaki predator free.
